Syrian festival to screen Iranian ‘Command’

Iranian short flick ‘Command’ has been selected to go on screen at the LELOUN International Film Festival in Syria.

Directed by Farshid Abdi, ‘Command’ narrates the story of a soldier, who is in a dilemma, where he can’t decide between doing his duty and listening to his heart.

The film was screened at Austria’s Zeitimplus shortfilm special edition.

It will also go on screen at the upcoming edition of the Tulipoff International Film Festival in Denmark.

Earlier reports said Iranian short films ‘Tumor’ directed by Javad Ganji and Lida Fazli’s ‘This Side, Other Side’ will also be screened at the LELOUN filmfest.

The Syrian filmfest receives films made by amateurs and professionals from around the world.

The first edition of the LELOUN International Film Festival will take place on September 21-25, 2020.
